Ballet
An artistic dance form performed to music using precise and highly formalized set steps and gestures.
Tap
A dance genre performed wearing shoes fitted with metal taps, characterized by rhythmical tapping of the toes and heels.
Jazz
There are many forms and interpretations of jazz dance based on musical choice, choreography, and the age of dancers. This is a faster paced high energy discipline.
Musical theatre
Musical theatre dancing is less of a particular style, and more rooted in the diverse history of broadway musicals. Relying heavily on a knowledge of ballet, tap, and jazz, musical theatre dancers are, first and foremost, actors and place a high focus on musical interpretation.
Lyrical
Lyrical dance is a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics, and modern dance. This typically portrays a story.
Adult
This class is a fun and exciting way to get fit and learn something new. Each adult class is based on the individuals taking part and what they are comfortable with and interested in learning.

Hip hop
Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles.
Pointe
is the part of classical ballet technique that concerns pointe work, in which a ballet dancer supports all body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes.
Contemporary
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements
